Flower Power
Gucci hand-painted leather jacket | Max Studio flowy skirt | Alexander Mcqueen skull scarf | Mustard Sweater | Kenzo bucket bag | Dolce & Gabanna loafers | Marni resin earrings | Miu Miu frames | Comme Des Garcons Parfum
Currently lusting for all things pictured here, which all consists of flower power and bits of rich colored reds for color. As the weather lightens up, so does the mood for spring time buys for fun quirky looks. Inspired from the #streetstyle power of LFW, I couldn't help draw inspiration. One day my bank account will allot for this $14k outfit ensemble.

Venezian Grounds
Venice California strums up that of nostalgic classic Cali landscapes, much like the romanticized scenes you find in the Californication sitcom with Hank Moody. Palm trees, endless ocean, the PCH, and all the gentrified parts mixed in a little tinge of ghetto (but hardly anymore) that belongs to the westside.

Grommets & Verticals
Ever since moving our offices from Beverly Hills to DTLA, my wardrobe choices have been changing a tad bit. Mostly entirely due to the choice of commuting by public transit whether by train or bus in conjunction with my skateboard. For those reasons my style has been a little bit more on the tom-boyish side, always incorporating my gray converse or my Sk8 HIs into my OOTDs.

My New Name is Dillon
First posts can be awkward, but I'm no stranger to this blogging thing. A little late in the game maybe to start this all up again, but playing a little catch up never hurt anyone. But if you know me, you know that I started out doing a blog called Buttons & Bows back in 2009, which later on turned into an award winning designer resale shop in LA. Ahhh, RIP beloved shop. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about all the wonderful vintage designer stuff that flowed through our doors. But as with life, there's ups and downs and lots of lessons in between to help you go back on to the path that you're meant for. As they say, life only gives you what you need at the right time. One of my resolutions this year was to finally start a new website. Another place to showcase my style, so they don't go to die in Instagram land, as well as a place to eventually showcase my portfolio of fashion brands I have helped create and currently manage. Whoever is following me on this fashion journey, thanks for tagging along for the ride.
